Summary: Subtle but clever
Comment: Two kiwis in New York trying to break into the music scene with the help of a band manager that has no knowledge of the business or music? Sounds like a far stretch for a comedy. It actually is, but the fish-out-of-water routine works well for the characters Jermaine and Bret. Their relationship skills, or lack of, and the occasional mistaken nationality wrapped in music makes for a very enjoyable comedy.

Summary: One of the most hilarious shows I've seen in some time.
Comment: If you're a fan of dry, sometimes nonsensical, humor (specifically of the British variety) then you should buy this. If you're not then look elsewhere for laughs. It's wonderfully witty and very much unpredictable. You'll often find yourself expecting something to happen only to be taken completely off guard by the hijinx that ensue. I recommend picking up a copy of their CD as well as it has 80-90% of the songs featured in the show.
I only gave it four stars because I think they could've put more into the actual DVD. From the main menu you can either select an episode or play all. Pretty barebones. I wouldn't let that disuade you from purchasing it by any means though.

Comment: their humor is so bizarre! but it's so hilarious! the best part of the show is their songs. each one will make you crack up. most of the humor is dry and sarcastic.

Summary: classic.....classic.
Comment: These guys are famous from their youtube song "Business Time." They've got plenty more classics, and they're even better in the context of the show. Several are hard to find on youtube and are not on their album.
It seems to me they hit a very narrow demographic (though I could be wrong): age 20-26 year old men. All my friends absolutely love them, though I have a hard time seeing people much younger or older than that going for this kind of humor. They get better the more you watch them, and the more you watch them with people. It's a fun show to quote, and even better to sing to.
The first disc worth of episodes is by far the superior, but certainly worth the price of the DVDs.

To rectify this oversight, Jemaine and Bret have moved to New Yorkâs East Village to conquer America, one fan (literally) at a time.
